When’s the best time to start a hypnobirthing course?

I would recommend joining a class at around the 24-28 week point in your pregnancy. This will make sure everything is fresh in your mind when the big day arrives, but it will also give you plenty of time to practise the techniques to make sure you get the most out of hypnobirthing.

Don’t panic if you think you’ve left it too late though! Have a look at my Hypnobirthing Essentials workshop, which is great as a refresher or for people with limited time. Please feel free to get in touch with me to discuss your options.

I’m having a planned Caesarean birth! Can hypnobirthing still help me?

Hypnobirthing is not just for people who give birth at home – it can be transformative for EVERYONE! Whether you’re having a planned Caesarean birth or you’re planning to give birth on your own in the woods, the key is to feel positive, calm and in control and I can’t wait to arm you with the knowledge and skills to feel just that.

I am LGBTQ+, are your sessions inclusive?

I am really aware that not every pregnant person identifies as female and I will always use your preferred pronouns and inclusive language in all of my sessions. I am committed to inclusivity in all areas. This is something that is very important to me and I am proud to uphold these values in my work.

Where are your face to face classes held?

My face to face classes are held at my lovely new venue on Haywra Street in Harrogate. It is a comfortable ‘home from home’ venue, with sofas, blankets, snacks and calming lights. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do!
